Barry, the
Gloster Canary has a fashionable haircut that makes it look like a bowl.
Barry has
its own Instagram profile with more than 3,000 followers. His bio says: “I’m
the birb with the fringe!”
These
Gloster Canaries have a Canarian origin and are not seen in the wild. They are
produced as the final results of long term selective breeding. Two varieties of
Gloster Canaries as Coronas and Consorts can be seen in the environment.
Coronas are birds like Berries that are with crests on their heads while Consorts
are birds with smooth heads.
These birds
with "Beatles Haircuts'' are not socialized as parrots or pigeons. They
don't have a desire to interact with humans. And also these birds do not have a
great talent to sing as other birds do. Their crest on the head is the main
feature of attraction.
