Both males, as well as females, have a similar beautiful coating with minor differences. Females have dull colors while males have vibrant colors. Both the types can be identified by the difference between the male blue underparts and the female pale underparts. Besides, the tail of the male bird is relatively longer than the females'.

The tit warblers normally feed on spiders and insects found under rocks and roots. But, sometimes, during the cold weather their diet can change into berries and seeds.
