Abdullah
Aydemir is a Turkish photographer who captures pictures based on several themes
in Istanbul. He has a 15-year long experience in amateur photography.
Before
the beginning of his career as a photographer, he had engaged in drawing and
sculpting. Apart from these activities, his main occupation was teaching. The
combination of two passions, the passion for art and the passion for teaching
for children produced the final result as one of his projects titled ‘Eyes of
Istanbul’.
“I love
photographing people and children who are symbols of innocence. They say eyes
are the mirror of the heart, that’s why I focus on the eyes when I take a
portrait photograph,” he said during an interview.
As per
what was told by Aydemir, he often captures random photographs of the children
he meets on the streets. His objective through this is to expose the beauty of
Istanbul to the entire world.
