King Charles Continues to
Receive Majority Public Support
The research also examined attitudes toward King
Charles III.
According to the findings:
- 62% of Britons hold a favourable opinion of the
King.
- 31% expressed an unfavourable view.
The figures indicate that Charles continues to command
majority support as he settles further into his reign following Queen Elizabeth
II's death.
While debates surrounding the future of the monarchy
continue, public approval of the King has remained relatively consistent.
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor
Remains the Least Popular Figure
At the bottom of the rankings once again was Andrew
Mountbatten-Windsor, formerly known as Prince Andrew.
The latest poll recorded:
- 2% favourable opinion.
- 92% unfavourable opinion.
According to YouGov, this represents one of the lowest
favourability ratings recorded for the former Duke of York.
His public standing has remained extremely low
following years of controversy and his withdrawal from public royal duties.
