This
morning, Charles, aged 75, departed from Clarence House on his way to London
for his outpatient cancer treatment. He greeted pedestrians with a friendly
wave as he crossed the street.
The
news of Thomas Kingston's passing last night saddened many. He was dearly
beloved by Lady Gabriella. Both Charles and Queen Camilla expressed their
heartfelt tributes in his honor.
“The
King and The Queen have been told of Thomas’s death and join Prince and
Princess Michael of Kent and everyone who knew him in their grief over the loss
of a much-loved family member,” they said.
“In
particular, Their Majesties send their most heartfelt thoughts and prayers to
Gabriella and to all the Kingston family.”
The
individual from the royal family, aged 45, was found deceased on Sunday night.
Lady
Gabriella is the King's second cousin since they are both great-grandchildren
of King George V.
Someone
“who lit up the lives of all who knew him” would be remembered as her
“exceptional” husband, she said.
Yesterday,
Charles was unable to attend the service honoring the late King Constantine of
Greece.
Before
the ceremony commenced, he was present at Windsor Castle, but he departed
before its commencement.
Camilla
guided the royal entourage to the Thanksgiving service at St. George’s Chapel.
The
reading was initially scheduled for William, but Prince Pavlos, King
Constantine's son, performed it instead.
Kensington
Palace refrained from providing further details but confirmed that Princess
Kate is recovering well following her abdominal surgery.
It
was after Prince Harry lost his latest bid for UK security because he said he
was being “singled out” and treated “less favorably” than other royals that the
King showed up this morning.
The
39-year-old Duke of Sussex filed a lawsuit against the Home Office after it
declined to cover the costs for his security detail when he exited the Royal
Family.
There
was no “unlawfulness” in the call to pull Harry’s security after Megxit, a
judge said this morning.
He
also said that the decision was “justified” and not “irrational,” as some
people had called it.
Upon
ceasing their royal duties in 2020, the Sussexes forfeited their 24/7 security
detail.
