A talented Italian photographer has
captured the innocence of children from all over the world through his
magnificent lens. Through a series of incredible portraits, Massimo Bietti is showing the world the honest child-like wonder and
innocence of childhood remains the exact same regardless of race, culture, or
even the several experiences and hardships which different children face as
they grow up. Bietti traveled to nations ranging from Russia, Norway, and India
to Papua New Guinea, Ethiopia, Malaysia, Vanuatu, and others in search of these
unforgettable faces and to give an honest cross-cultural viewpoint on childhood.

Even though many regions of the world
suffer from poverty a lack of education, poor health, child labor, and
violence, more and more children are getting the chance to have a healthy
childhood. According to the 2019 Global Childhood Report, today's children have "a
greater chance than at any other moment in history to grow up healthy,
educated, and protected, with the opportunity to realize their full
potential." There is still a long way to go but the future for millions of
children throughout the world is considerably brighter.
