Meet Jill
a 7-year-old squirrel who was rescued in 2012 after Hurricane Isaac. She
dropped out of her nest after the Louisiana typhoon and her new owners took her
in. While it was just meant to be a temporary option Jill ended up staying—and
soon made herself at home. After seven years the cute furry mouse has become a
regular member of the household with her own Instagram account to prove it.
Jill is
allowed to walk freely around the home is potty-trained and loves dressing up
in cute dresses. Her Instagram profile, which is similarly cute, reads: “Vegetarian, park our expert
whose only fear is the vacuum. But, she loves every Starbucks napkin she
meets.” The little squirrel now has over 700,000 adoring fans who are
exposed to her daily posts. She was photographed playing with her dolls,
snacking, and napping with her favorite miniature teddy bear. Per year she even
marks her birthday.
Jill
loves traveling while she isn't enjoying the pampered life at home. “Jill has come with me on vacation ever since
I began caring for her—before she was even a year old,” her owner explained. “She is
a pro at long drives.” The shared affection between Jill and her adoptive
family is obvious—they're so fortunate to have met each other!
