All the
stargazers and the night lovers were awaiting to see the May’s pink moon which
was bright on the night sky of the 7th of May. A supermoon is a moon which is
big and bright and in its closest position to Earth. Apart from the supermoon
in April, the supermoon which appeared in the month of May has more
significance in it. Eventhough we don’t discuss the astronomical details on
this particular supermoon which occurred in May, it was known as a flower moon
which was to celebrate the flowers that bloom in the month of May. The
supermoon in this month had another few names as Hare Moon, Milk Moon and Corn
Planting Moon in some areas.
